|The Aston Team Journey programme as a development tool for team leaders to use with their teams. It helps to improve team performance by offering teams a structured, evidence-based experience they will value and enjoy. The programme is delivered via the learning & development and organisational development teams in partnership with the team leader and his/her team.
A clear, ten-stage layout enables teams to work through the practical and interactive materials at their own pace, with a team coach, usually in four to six months.

|Must be in an appropriate role to lead a team through a development|
|Must be up to date with all required mandatory training. An application form must be submitted to the Head of Learning & Leadership Development. Applications should be supported by your line manager.|
|• To develop understanding of the principles of the Aston team working approach, and the tools available to help put this into practice
• To create a plan for your team’s development with an OD practitioner/team coach
• To lead your team through the 10 stage programme of work-based activities with the support of your team coach.
• To work at your own pace using the evidence, examples, discussions, checklists, templates and tools to develop relevant interventions for your team
• To participate in action learning set meetings to review progress, offer and gain support and work through solutions to challenges with your peers
