Learning at work is fundamental to ensuring that people are sufficiently skilled and motivated to meet the demands of a successful and growing organisation in the 21st century. This workshop aims to help people feel confident in providing mentoring support to colleagues in the Trust.

Individuals who have useful experience, expertise, knowledge or abilities that can be used to help others develop?
Course Prerequisites
Must be registered on the Trust’s mentoring database.
Must be interested in supporting the development of others with the ability to create positive working relationships, and have great listening and interpersonal skills.
Objectives
• To define the role, responsibilities and benefits of mentoring at work
• To consider the skills and qualities needed of an effective mentor
• To review and discuss each stage of the mentoring process
