Course Overview
This nationally recognised qualification will develop key individuals to develop their skills and credibility as a coach, both in their day to day practice and as part of our internal pool of coaches who can offer 1-1 formal coaching opportunities.
Developing a coaching culture can help inspire confidence within teams - supporting performance through coaching/mentoring helps to empower individuals to solve problems, make decisions and self-manage with confidence
Target Staff Group
Leaders, managers, learning and organisational development and human resource specialists
Course Prerequisites
Must hold a professional management qualification e.g. ILM Level 5 in Leadership & Management, CPID qualified in HRD or HRM, and demonstrate key skills and understanding of a coaching approach. Commitment to studying for and completing the assessed elements of the qualification.
Objectives
This Coach Development Programme, aims to provide suitable individuals with the opportunity to enhance own performance, whilst helping the organisation drive and embed a coaching culture.
Delivery Method
Face to face training, plus a minimum 12 hours of coaching practice
Refresher Period
Will be required ot attend two CPD/supervision sessions a year after qualifying.
Duration
4 x 1 day workshops plus coaching practice and completion of assignments over a 6 month period.
