|Coaching opportunities are aimed predominantly for those with elements of leadership responsibility, however this can be at any level and does not have to be part of a formal management role..|
|Our aim through offering 1-1 coaching is to enhance our leadership, management and talent development approach, therefore this opportunity is aimed at helping people become even better, achieving their highest potential and best possible performance. The individual uses the skills of a coach to work through issues, in line with their goals, in a structured way to find an outcome or solution.
Successful coaching relies on the motivation of the individual to achieve their own goals and aspirations.
Coaching is NOT used as a substitute for good line management supervision and support nor addressing poor performance issues.
|Coaching is a focussed and relatively short term development intervention and will usually last for between 2 and 6 sessions. Meetings are agreed at periods between the coach and coachee as part of a ‘contracting’ process.|
