Update: DMI Specialist Physical Interventions
HASAW Act 1974, risk assessment, national guidelines, e.g. NICE and NHS Protect, ethics, duty of care, statute law, e.g. MHA, criminal and common law, physiology and anatomy, defining violence, aggression and challenging behaviour. A wide range of holding principles including seated and standing positions and disengagement principles
