It is expected that all training is completed at your earliest opportunity and kept up to date to ensure you are complaint and the Trust is meeting its statutory requirements. A monthly report is produced which will inform you of compliance within the mandatory training modules. You can look at your teams record on ESR to monitor their progress. As a supervisor you also have the ability to book your staff onto courses and withdraw them from courses.
The Learning & Development Team are notified by recruitment of new starters. They then plan your initial training schedule and contact you and your manager with full details. All new starters are expected to complete training as soon as possible.
If you are new to the Trust in a health care support role (nursing & AHP) you will complete the Care Certificate within the first 12 weeks. You can read more about the Care Certificate by clicking here.
